BEHIND THE GAME
The aroma of spices wafts through the air as the faint yet distinct low rumbling of soft, fluffy yellow egg rolls simmering in butter enters your ears. Suddenly, a loud clang tears through your reverie and you are face to face with your station chef who has brought you an assortment of vegetables in a metal colander. Now it's time to work your magic.
With a Japanese background, the creator of this game has always loved the culture of making bentos. Recently, character bentos have been all the rave, with mothers designing cute and intricate lunchboxes for their children to take to school. Traditional bentos, however, still have a place within bento culture. Both types of bentos are filled with a plethora of healthy ingredients, smell wonderful, and are pleasing to the eye, captivating three of our five senses.
